Morning Yall...We gotta Love one another today. That means considering your brother/fellowman before ur own interests. Don't let this "world" tell you anything different.
Im a musician/composer/producer. I play the trumpet and piano. I've been playing the trumpet for the last 25 years. Piano about 18 years. I just love music. the funny thing is I don't listen to too much music at home. I know that's weird....i suppose when I come home to my wife after teaching all day or after a gig..I'd rather hear silence. Strange huh? I believe this is a symptom of playing solely for the financial benefits for a number of years. I'm growing out of it slowly but surely. I can proudly admit that I have made a new habit of turning down gigs that interfere with the quality time i spend with my wife. Sounds like I got a life! I'm an aspiring producer as well. I once had a dream that I was sitting on a panel with the legendary producer Quincy Jones. He left to go handle something and asked if I wouldn't mind taking over. Until that moment manifests itself in reality, Im out here trying to learn. I dig jazz too. I have a bachelors degree in Jazz, which absolutely means NOTHING. "A sus flat 9" could care less what my degree is in! I'm just a learner. Thanks for stoping by!
